The Spiritual Healing Sanctuary at Burrows Lea is a registered charity and was founded in 1946 by the world-renowned healer Harry Edwards. For over 60 years, the Sanctuary has continued to serve the public as an internationally-recognised healing centre.

Offering both contact and distant healing, the Sanctuary provides a unique healing experience, enhanced by the tranquil atmosphere and beautiful grounds overlooking the Surrey Hills. Our gardens and woodland are open every day of the year, and many people visit regularly to sit quietly in prayer, to meditate or simply to unwind

Those who wish further enjoyment and benefit from the healing experience of the Sanctuary, can avail themselves of the restaurant, retreats, and residential facilities of Burrows Lea Country House.

WHAT IS SPIRITUAL HEALING?

Spiritual Healing is the simple process of channelling divine healing energy through a healer to an individual. Healing can be given in person through contact healing or alternatively, when the individual is not present, known as distant healing.

During a contact healing session, the person receiving the healing is also guided through simple breathing and relaxation techniques.

Distant healing begins as soon as the request for healing help is made; whether by letter, email, telephone, fax or via our web site. You may request healing for yourself, another person, an animal or towards a specific situation. We ask that you give us a brief description of the symptoms or problem requiring help, along with details of any treatment being given - including dates of any forthcoming appointments or operations.

Every written request receives a reply and your name, or that of the person for whom you are requesting help will be entered into our healing book for a period of one month after receiving your report. Each morning between 8 and 8.30am, and during the Healing Minute at 10am and 10pm, our team of healers focus their healing thoughts and prayers on those listed in the healing book.
