Preparing To Heal

Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 November 2008 at the Sanctuary 10.00 – 17.00

The HEHS Preparing to Heal course is a relaxed and informative two day workshop designed for those who want a broad general introduction to the practice of spiritual healing. It does not confer practitioner status but by the end of the workshop attendees will have a basic understanding of spiritual healing, including distant healing, and some of the techniques used in the preparation for healing practice. On completion of this course, students will be awarded an HEHS Level 1 ‘Preparing to Heal’ certificate.

Open Days at the Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary

The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary will be holding three Open Days during 2008:
Saturday 28th June, Saturday 26th July and Saturday 29th November.

The June Open Day will be a special family day with a Children's area, a talk by a local wildlife expert, stalls, live music, refresments and more.

Sunday 24th June 2007 - 2.30pm. A Charity Auction Of Paintings By Sophie Shapiro To Be Held At The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary, Shere.

The Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary is delighted to be hosting an auction of twelve original paintings by Sophie Shapiro on Sunday 24th June 2007. The proceeds of the auction will be used to purchase an electric mobility vehicle for a motor neurone disease patient, the balance to be divided equally between the Sanctuary and another charity which provides day care for African children affected by AIDS.

Sophie Shapiro is a truly extraordinary artist whose paintings communicate both intellectually and emotionally - even to those who are not normally attracted to abstract art. The paintings are currently on display at the Harry Edwards Sanctuary, and personal viewings may be arranged on request.A full colour catalogue is also available, and the paintings may also be viewed online at:
